About Monday, New Zealand Cricket (NZC) CEO David White indicated a readiness to discuss the restart of last week's Pakistan series Black Caps, but he said discussions on visiting the nation were premature again given the team's timetable was already "quite tight."

On September 17, the Black Caps shattered Pakistan's cricket brotherhood, which opted out of Pakistan moments before first ODI was about to be played. They claimed a 'security risk' as the cause without additional disclosure.

In a fresh article, Stuff reported White in New Zealand media: "We have a very close working connection with Cricket Pakistan. We would like to think we are going to work on this over the coming few days, weeks and months to guarantee that we play the content we missed and continue our strong working relationship."

"They are a highly passionate cricketing country, as we know, and clearly they are disappointed. We understand their deception," he continued.

The article says that the Chief of the NZC hoped the matches would be rescheduled, but did not know if the Future Tours program was "very tight."

White added that the problem would be handled in due course in the compensation of PCB for lost income. He hoped that when Pakistan came to tour New Zealand the decision to quit the trip would not take place against NZC.

He said it was too early to remark on the likelihood of the Black Caps returning to Pakistan soon.

"I think what's essential to note is that we go through a very comprehensive safety procedure for every trip, whether it's Pakistan or England or somewhere else. This has not been an exception. In fact, in this case it was probably more.

"At the moment, I can't answer that question, it's too early. However, we will evaluate every trip on its merits, "He added.

Cancelation of NZC Trip

On Friday, the New Zealand squad unilaterally delayed Pakistan the series minutes before the opening match at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium was due – a decision that stunned spectators and officials.

The PCB states that Pakistan had "safe safeguards for all away supporters" and had "advised NZC of the same."

It claimed that the New Zealand squad was happy with the security provisions all along their stay and added that the last-minute departure of cricket enthusiasts in Pakistan and across the world was "disappointed."

The cricket squad of New Zealand first came in Pakistan in 18 years on 11 September to play three ODIs and five Twenty20 Internationals.

The New Zealand ODI-series was set for the Rawalpindi Stadium on Sept 17, 19 and 21, whereas the Gaddafi Grounds was scheduled for the time of Sept 25 to Oct 3 to host five T20.

In Sunday's statement White claimed he had "no choice" but left Pakistan, after getting advice from the government of New Zealand on a "particular, real danger."
